The Brooklyn Cyclones (29-32, 62-65) continue their final homestand of the 2024 season against the Wilmington Blue Rocks (24-37, 55-72) — the High-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals — at 7 p.m. on Wednesday from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.

RHP Saúl García (NR) is scheduled to make his first start of the season for the Cyclones. The Blue Rocks are projected to counter with RHP Bryan Cáceres (3-8, 4.97).

BAKER'S DOZEN: Brooklyn's 6-0 victory vs. Wilmington on Tuesday night extended the team's franchise record for single-season shutouts to 13 in 2024...The Cyclones' 2-0 win at Wilmington on August 14 marked the team's 12th shutout, which set a new single-season franchise record...The Cyclones tied the 2023 squad's franchise record with its 11th shutout in July 14's 5-0 win at Wilmington...The Cyclones had blanked Wilmington in consecutive matchups and had thrown 21.1 consecutive scoreless frames against them dating back from the fifth inning on July 13 until the first inning on August 15...The 13 shutouts are 4 behind Hudson Valley (17) for the most in the South Atlantic League.
