Dan Martin NY Post: Steve Cohen awaits Mets’ Juan Soto fate as MLB’s pitching market takes shape. "Teams are expected to start making offers to the biggest free agent prize of the offseason soon, with many believing a decision will be made around the time of the Winter Meetings, which begin Dec. 9 in Dallas...And Monday, teams began to find out what the starting pitching free-agent market will look like, as left-hander Yusei Kikuchi agreed to a three-year, $63 million deal with the Angels, first reported by The Post’s Jon Heyman."
SNY.TV: Juan Soto free agency buzz: Mets, Yankees reportedly among five teams with offer for star OF. "Mets and Yankees are among the top suitors...according to numerous reports those five teams who have made offers are the Mets, Yankees, Dodgers, Red Sox, and Blue Jays."
MLB.com: Here are 8 prospects standing out in winter ball. Luisangel Acuna, Mets: "...it makes sense that the 22-year-old would play winter ball in his native Venezuela this year, especially after posting a .299 on-base-percentage and .654 OPS in 131 games at Triple-A Syracuse this summer. So far, the versatile right-handed hitter is riding the momentum from his 14-game stint in the Majors, hitting .364/.421/.576 with a homer and four steals in his first 11 games for Lara."

Justin talks about the 2024 Brooklyn Cyclones, Mets Prospects and how the Mets have become very aggressive in promoting players up the system. He noted that 17 players were promoted from Brooklyn to Binghamton last year.
