PRESS RELEASE: METS ANNOUNCE ROSTER MOVES - "RHP Kevin Herget has been claimed off waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers..INF Luis De Los Santos was claimed off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays... The organization sent LHP Matt Gage, LHP Joey Lucchesi and OF D.J. Stewart outright to Triple-A Syracuse. Lucchesi and Stewart elected free agency."
Report: Mets claim Kevin Herget from Brewers "Last year he had a 1.59 ERA for the Brewers in 7 games, 11.1 innings with 9 Ks and 3 walks. He was 5-1 with a 2.27 ERA in Triple-A, 38 games, 47.2 innings, 59 Ks, 11 walks."
