The New York Mets announced that they have picked up the $14 million option on Carlos Carrasco. They have also picked up the 2023 option on John Curtiss who missed all of 2022 due to Tommy John Surgery.
Per Anthony DiComo, the Mets have decided to not extend a Qualifying Offer to Taijuan Walker. They did extend it to Jacob deGrom, Chris Bassitt and Brandon Nimmo.
Per Mike Puma, Terrance Gore was outrighted to Syracuse. He declined the assignment and is now a free agent.

The Mets are not extending a $19.65 million qualifying offer to Taijuan Walker, source says. That leaves three Mets to receive the QO: Jacob deGrom, Chris Bassitt and Brandon Nimmo, all of whom are obvious recipients. All are expected to decline in search of multi-year deals.
