Per the Mets Press Release: "The New York Mets tonight announced that they have agreed to terms on one-year contracts with the following players, avoiding arbitration: infielder Pete Alonso, RHP Jeff Brigham, infielder Luis Guillorme, RHP Elieser Hernández, catcher Tomás Nido and RHP Drew Smith. The Mets had previously agreed to a one-year contract with LHP Joey Lucchesi."  The only player not signed was Jeff McNeil who will go to arbitration.

NY Post: Pete Alonso gets big pay raise after avoiding arbitration with Mets.

Mets Press Release: Mets acquire OF Luis De La Cruz. De La Cruz is the player to be named later in the James McCann deal.  "The 6-2, 190-pounder has appeared in 60 career games with the DSL Orioles and has hit .252 (39-155) with 23 runs, seven doubles, one home run, 19 RBI, three steals with a .405 OBP. The Dominican Republic native was originally signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Orioles in July of 2019."

Mets re-sign Conner Grey - assign to Syracuse. "Connor led all Syracuse Mets last year with 104.1 innings pitched, 24 starts.  He was 5-6 with a 6.35 ERA.  He was promoted to the Mets on August 22nd last year but did not see action and was returned to Syracuse in September after  clearing waivers."

SNY.TV: Carlos Correa details Mets negotiations, talk with Francisco Lindor about playing 3B. "'From the moment the deal was agreed on, my mind was set to play third base every single day'...'The Giants used an ankle specialist who didn’t pass me. Then the Mets used the same specialist, who obviously wasn’t going to pass me,' Correa told The Athletic. 'He had already given an opinion to another team about my ankle. He was not going to change that. He was going to stand by what he was saying, of course, because that is what he believed.'"
