Before the Game, The Mets place Pete Alonso on the Injured List, called up Luis Guillorme and Zach Muckenhirn and DFA'd Steven Nogosek.  Here is what they said about Pete Alonso's injury: "After undergoing additional imaging, Pete has been diagnosed with a bone bruise and a sprain of his left wrist. He has been placed on the IL. A typical return to play for this type of injury is approximately 3-4 weeks."

1983 - Dave Kingman cracks a 2-run 2-out home run in the bottom of the 17th inning to give the Mets a 4 - 2 win over the Expos. Kingman has 3 RBI in the game.

1986At Shea Stadium‚ Tim Teufel hits a pinch grand slam in the 11th and the Mets beat the Phillies‚ 8 - 4. Teufel had been 0 for 3 as a pinch hitter.
