The Brooklyn Cyclones (11-18, 44-51) battle the Rome Emperors (10-19, 46-47) — the High-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves — in the series finale at 2 p.m. on Sunday from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.
RHP Jonathan Pintaro (0-3, 2.56) is scheduled to take the hill for the Cyclones. The Emperors are projected to counter with RHP Cory Wall (2-3, 3.10).

THIS DATE IN CYCLONES' HISTORY: On July 28, 2001, OF Frank Corr went 5-for-5 and scored three runs at Vermont, becoming the first player in franchise history to record five hits in a single game...In 2007, 3B Jake Eigsti laid down a sacrifice bunt in the bottom of the 10th inning, but a throwing error on the play allowed the winning run to score in Brooklyn's 2-1 walk-off win vs. Vermont...In 2011, CF Travis Taijeron clubbed a walk-off solo home run with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning in a 2-1 win vs. Connecticut...In 2014, 3B Jhoan Ureña's 13-game hitting streak was snapped in an 8-5 win at Lowell...The 13-game streak was Ureña's second of the year, becoming just the fourth player in franchise history to record two 10+ game hit streaks and the third to do it in a single season...In 2016, RHP Harol González struck out 11 over 7.0 innings of one-run ball, while 1B Pete Alonso went 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs batted in during a 5-3 win at Vermont.
SRF 47: RHP Sean Reid-Foley rejoined the Cyclones on a Major League rehab assignment on Sunday...The 28-year-old has been on the New York Mets' 15-day injured list since June 22 with right shoulder impingement...Reid-Foley was also on New York's 15-day IL from March 28 until April 22 with the same ailment...This is the right-hander's second rehab stint on Coney Island in 2024 and third overall...On April 14, Reid-Foley made his season debut vs. Asheville, striking out the side in the seventh inning...He also made three appearances with Brooklyn in 2023, allowing one run on one hit over 2.2 innings with one walk and three strikeouts...In 23 games at the Major League level this year, Reid-Foley holds a 1-2 record with a 1.66 ERA (4 ER in 21.2 IP), 14 walks, and 25 strikeouts.
SO LONG, STU: For the second time this weekend, the New York Mets swung a trade involving a 2023 Brooklyn Cyclone...New York acquired OF Jesse Winker from the Washington Nationals in exchange for RHP Tyler Stuart on Sunday morning...Stuart, who was ranked as the organization's No. 23 prospect by Baseball America, was Minor League Baseball's ERA leader (2.20) in 2023, splitting the season between Brooklyn and Double-A Binghamton...In 14 starts with the Cyclones, the 24-year-old went 4-0 with a microscopic 1.55 ERA (13 ER in 75.2 IP) with 23 walks and 84 strikeouts before joining Double-A on July 14...Stuart's Cyclones teammate — OF Rhylan Thomas — was dealt by New York to the Seattle Mariners on Friday in return for RHP Ryne Stanek.
