Report: The Mets to acquire Jesse Winker

 

According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, the New York Mets are acquiring Washington Nationals Outfielder Jesse Winker pending a physical.  No word yet on who is going back to Washington in the deal.

The 30 Year Old Winker has been a Met antagonist over the passed few years with a knack of getting big hit against them.

After signing for $2M this winter, Winker has been excellent, hitting .253/.372/.417 while playing a solid left field.
