Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (23-28, 56-61) will look to snap a two-game slide against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws (27-24, 65-52) — the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies — at 7 p.m. on Friday from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Friendship Bracelet giveaway and there will be Postgame Fireworks presented by Liquid IV.

RHP Jonah Tong (4-4, 3.70) — the New York Mets’ No. 10 prospect per MLB Pipeline — expects to get the ball for Brooklyn. The BlueClaws are projected to counter with RHP Luke Russo (2-1, 4.26).

THE TONG SONG: RHP Jonah Tong has been magnificent for the Cyclones in the last few weeks...Since making his South Atlantic League debut on May 2, the Markham, Ont. native leads the circuit and all High-A pitchers in strikeouts (98)...The 98 strikeouts are also 9th in the circuit overall...Among SAL arms with 75.0-plus innings since his debut, Tong is 2nd batting average against (.218) and opposing OPS (.626), tied for 3rd in ERA (3.70), and 5th in WHIP (1.30)...Tong has been as good as any pitcher in Minor League Baseball this year, tossing 26.0 consecutive innings without allowing an earned run to start the season...Among full-season Minor Leaguers with at least 90.0 innings of work, the Markham, Ont. native is 1st in FIP (2.19), 3rd in strikeout rate (34.4%), and 8th in strikeout-to-walk rate (23.8%).
