NY Post: Mets now await test results after Carlos Correa completes two-day physical. "Correa was back in Houston by Friday afternoon, according to a source...Mets’ fans don’t seem to be worried about Correa’s future in Queens. According to The Post’s Jon Heyman, the team sold $1 million worth of single-game tickets on Wednesday, after word of the deal first became known."
Mets sent a private plane to transport Carlos Correa to NYC from Houston for the physical. First class organization (or even better in this case)

— MLB Network (@MLBNetwork) December 24, 2022MLB.com: Each team's breakout prospect of 2022. For the Mets it was Alex Ramirez: "Signed in July 2019, Ramirez missed out on the 2020 season like everyone else and then skipped right over Complex Leagues to play at Single-A St. Lucie in 2021. After showing decent power and good speed out of his 6-foot-3 frame, Ramirez has four potentially above-average tools, helping his route into the Top 100."
John Fron Albany's note: I saw Alex play last year on the road in Hudson Valley where he hit two deep home runs in one game and I also saw him play in Brooklyn. He alternated between CF and RF, making several nice running catches with a very strong arm. He sure looked like the real deal to me. Some keep offering him up in different proposed trades but with his "above-average tools" and the lack of top Outfield prospects in the Mets system, I think the Mets should hold on to him.
Another interesting player on the list? Pirates: Endy Rodriguez, C/OF (No. 6/MLB No. 97). The player traded for Joey Lucchesi: "he exploded in 2022, hitting his way from High-A to Triple-A and being named the catcher on our Prospect Team of the Year after hitting a combined .323/.407/.590."
Joe DeMayo: SNY.TV: What to expect from Mets prospect Ronny Mauricio in 2023. Mauricio could soon transition to the outfield. Joe looks at Ronny's career so far and notes: "With some continued growth in his pitch selection at the plate and a defensive home, he could be bringing that 20-plus home run type of bat to Queens sooner than later."
