The New York Mets have announced via X/Twitter that they have traded Zack Short to the Boston Red Sox for Cash Considerations.
The Mets claimed the Kingston, NY native, off waivers from the Detroit Tigers in November 2023. He made the team out of Spring Training this March. Zack Short was DFA'd when J.D. Martinez was activated this past Friday, April 26th.
