After Tuesday’s rain out, the Brooklyn Cyclones (18-15) begin the second leg of their two-week road trip against the Bowling Green Hot Rods (17-16) — the High-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays — on Wednesday afternoon at 12:05 p.m. ET from Bowling Green Ballpark in Bowling Green, Ky.
RHP Jonah Tong (0-0, 1.00) — the New York Mets’ No. 22 prospect per Baseball America — is expected to make his third South Atlantic League start for the Cyclones. The Hot Rods are projected to counter with RHP Roel Garcia III (1-1, 4.62).
