The New York Mets have announced that 30 minor league players have become Minor League Free Agents.
The Cub Reporter recently posted the rules for these Free Agents:
"An unsigned minor league player is automatically declared a free-agent at 5 PM (Eastern) on the 5th day after the final game of the World Series (the deadline is 5 PM Eastern on October 15th if the World Series is canceled) if the player has spent all or any part of at least seven separate seasons on a minor league roster."

Nick Plummer,he was a top ten prospect last spring.
Yes he was and many had Travis Blankenhorn in their Top 20 Prospect list even though the Mets picked him off Waivers. Nick Plummer only played 1 game in September for Syracuse.
It is possible he was on the Taxi Squad for the Mets but surprising he didn't see more action in Syracuse.
As far as Prospect lists go this Winter. Watch what happens to Omar De Los Santos - the FSL MVP this year. No one had him on their Prospect lists last Winter and still don't as we head into this Winter.
Wilmer missed the cut
He has been hurt most of the last two years, plus missing the year with COVID. His biggest assets was the ability to play all OF and INF positions plus his speed. I am not sure how his knee injury impacted the speed game but it sure set him back.
