Lugo, who tripled and scored in the ninth inning in Thursday's 1-0 victory, scorched a two-out, two-run single in the seventh inning to break a 3-3 tie and put the Mets ahead 5-3.

Raul Beracierta doubled in the eighth inning, advanced to third on a wild pitch and scored on another wild pitch for an insurance run that made it 6-3.

The Mets got the scoring started early. Shervyen Newton clubbed two-out RBI double in the first inning off the rehabbing Dylan Floro. Once Floro was lifted, Lugo came up and smacked another RBI double to make it 2-0.
